Normally my face stays pretty balanced and i'm lucky not to have ever suffered with acne, although like you might agree yourself the odd spot/s like to breakout now and again maybe from new products, diet or stress it happens. I tend to get the odd spots that are pretty painful under the skin, then after the spot has gone the scar doesnt fade for ages. I often turn to these two products, now they don't work miracles but they do help assist with getting rid of the problem.

The two products i have are the Burts Bees blemish stick and the Origins super spot remover.

The favourtie out of the two, and the one i would repurchase is the Origins super spot remover, overall this seems like it has a much stronger product than the Burts Bees and for that reason it makes a more noticeable difference on blemishes. Its a well loved favourite by a few bloggers so unless you don't know its main ingredient is salicylic acid which helps reduce the spot and helps clear up any scarring afterwards. I cannot say it will remove the spot but after applying this at bedtime i did notice a difference by morning. This product really dries the skin out so i'd be carefull about applying it, i just add a thing layer on the spot.

The Burts Bees Blemish stick is a herbal remedy of tea tree and other natural ingredients. This is slightly cheaper than the origins spot remover, it works well at been a bit of an antiseptic to the spot, and seems to help bring them to a head quicker. It smells very nice, although it sometimes does sting a little when applying. The main drawback to this and i think its something that could be easy improved from Burts Bees is the application. Its design is a rollerball and overall this just doesn't feel hygienic after rolling over the area then going back into the product..

What products do you tend to reach for that help?

It's been a while since i last did one of these posts, i've been collecting these and now i just want to bin them! Theres a few things i've been loving and some not so much, so here it goes:
Firstly the non beauty item is the NEOM travel size candle in 'tranquility' I loved this candle so much i was afraid to burn it as i wanted to reserve it for special evenings, anywho i just had another bought for me. Neom candles are something i'd really repurchase over and over as there so relaxing and loverly to enjoy.

Onto haircare theres a couple of shampoos here the Kerastase bain chroma captive, this is my second bottle and i really enjoyed this, however after my second bottle i did get a little bored hence i moved on to try something else out however nothing negative about this as it left my hair loverly and soft. Next shampoo is the travel size Organix moroccan argan oil. I purchased this for my holiday and really liked the results, so much i'm now using the full size at the moment. The perfect accompaniment to this shampoo is the argan oil hair treatment, this oil can be used after washing hair while it is still damp and will help nourish any dryness and gives a nice shine, i regret not buying this again instead i bought the l'oreal extraordinary oil and this really just doesnt give as good results (im not really seeing any results!)
finally the Batiste dry shampoo in blush, completely does the job of refreshing my hair i just now prefer to use the one thats aimed at brunette hair types.

Onto skincare i've used up the Origins GinZing eye cream, i've mentioned this in lots of blog posts now so i won't go over it again but i need some more of this in my life again..

The Collection 2000 'Primed and Ready' makeup primer, which i received in a beauty box. This actually isn't empty i just dont like it.. It has a petrol like smell to it and when applied to the face just completely feels unnatural and i just didn't like the idea of using it anymore.

And lastly the Ayuuri natural body wash i received in the GlossyBox natural edition i particularly did like this, although coconut is not my favourite its not something i'd purchase in future.

First of all i have 2 DSLR cameras that are not working! 2! For my blog i just love putting good quality pictures up, i think its something that makes it a little different to other blogs. Sadly i did this post with the iphone.. But ii need to de clutter this collection!, so next time better photos. Here it goes.

NSpa - Indulgent Ginger Bread Latte Bath Syrup - This was a gifted to me and this recently it has really suited the autumnal weather; it seems so sweet of ginger you could eat it. yum.

Soap & Glory - The Righteous Butter - This is so loverly, i bought some of these miniatures go in a beauty box i made a friend, i had to buy one for myself. I'm a person who tends to get easily bored of using the same body lotion over and over so this travel sizes from Soap and Glory are perfect, it has the classic fruity scent and i would repurchase again.

Burts Bees - Radiance Body Butter - I have this already in the full size. Its a body butter that has small pieces of glitter in that give a glowing effect, would be perfect for keeping up a tanned body.

The Body Shop - White Musk Body Lotion - now i do love body shops body butters but i didn't really enjoy using this lotion, it was the scent its far too strong and it really lingers on the skin for ages.I suppose some people would like that fact.

Murad Time - Release Acne Cleanser - I quite enjoyed using this product although it was aimed at anti ageing which at 24 i don't need to be worried about it did help with the condition of my skin and spots.

Biao Beauty - Rejuvenating Nigh Creme - I had 2 samples of this to use so you don't really get a full idea of this having any benefits, i did like the rose scent about this product.

The Body Shop - Aloe Calming Toner - Honestly i didn't get on with this product

Elizabeth Arden - Visible Difference Skin Balancing Lotion - I got on well with this sample size, it kept my skin balanced and i love that it had SPF in it (i took this away on holiday with me so its great to know it has protection in it) the only negative that would put me off purchasing is it left my skin greasy looking and took some time to sink in.
Bourjois Healthy Balance - I've been using this pressed powder to set my makeup, theres not alot to really say, i'd properly repurchase this again as it worked.

Origins - Modern Friction - This smells loverly i already have another bottle of this to use. It reminds me a little of LUSH's Oatifix face mask, its that same kind of consistency but a scrub.
