Winter Morning Skin Care Routine

As its turned much colder my skins been needing the extra nourishment i've changed a few products to my usual routine - I generally try and keep it consistent as my skin will certainly tell me its fed up of swaping and changing to new products, Latley i changed a few of these items and my skins just been in terrible condition with breakouts so i've quickly reverted back to what i'm used to.

I start my morning by cleansing my face with Origins Make a Difference Cleansing Milk this is a really gentle cleanser to wash my face with its also great at breaking down any makeup too. Next i follow cleansing with Caudalie Cleansing Water, again gentle on the skin i apply to a cotton pad and give a final cleanse after finishing i spray Caudalie's Grape Water all over my face then let it absorb, this is pretty smilar to Caudalies beauty exiler but with a much lighter scent and is more moisturizing.

Next i apply Origins Vitazing, i've mentioned this on a few posts already not only do i like it as a moisturizer but that fact its aimed at waking up a morning face by adding a 'skin tint' which leaves a loverly healthy glow. I follow this with Orgins Ginzing which works fantastic paired with vitazing, i'm not usually one for eye creams as i always saw them as for older people but ginzing is great for depuffing tired eyes. Finally i apply DrJart BB cream in regenerating, this is the newest addition to my routine, i've always wanted to give DrJart ago and i choose the regenerating one as it aims to blur out any imperfections hi i have lots of those. Lastley my lips have not been good, i think its because of going in the cold the inside in the warmth too often, so i've been using L'Occitane lip balm.

November Favourites

Its that time, i have a few favourites to share this month.

Origins - VitaZing - This has become my favourtie everyday moisturizer. At first i didn't quite know how i'd get along with this product as it contains a 'sheet tint release' i didn't want my moisturizer to be coloured. However this doesnt work as a tinted foundation, but instead it adds a healthy glow to the skin. Which really works well to help your skin look more awake and radiant, perfect for those tired skin mornings.

Origins - Drink Up Intensive - This is an overnight mask to quench the skins thirst. I mainly got this mask after good reviews for a flight to keep my skin hydrated and since the mask is clear when you apply it no one will notice! It has a gorgeous fruity scent, i tend to apply this after having a tiring day and i want to wake up feeling refreshed.

Rimmel Lipstick - Kate Moss Matte Collection 113 - I've wanted to try one of these new matte lipsticks so i opted to buy this loverly nude colour with pinky tones. it looks very natural on the lips and looks good when going for a simple make up look

Caudalie - Cleansing Water - I've been using this cleansing water morning and evenings, its really gentle and takes off any remaining makeup. Caudalie products seem to work really well with my skin as there very gentle and natural.

Origins Brightening Musts

I recently bought this set from Origins as my skin could really do with a brightening up effect sometimes or in otherwords i need to look awake. I'm either up early for work or working late a night followed by some 'sleep' to get up again shortly, i hoped this would do the trick.

VitaZing

I've heard lots of reviews about this so i was interested to give it a try, it costs £26 alone, but i picked up the brightening musts set for £26 which includes the full size VitaZing and 2 other products. VitaZing is a moisturizer that claims to give a 'energy-boosting' and a sheer tint release, i was a little unsure about the tinted part of this product as my skin is a little on the pale side. I was wrong, i've heard people say they looked a little orange by using this, however for me it wasn't noticeable as a tint at all but indeed it does give a loverly glow on the skin.

GinZing

This is a refreshing eye cream that aims to brighten and depuff. The little sample pot has a pinkish tinted cream much similar to the VitaZing, it does make the eye area feel refreshed and awake but i still do need to add concealer to cover any darker areas.

Modern Friction

lastly in the set is a gentle dermabrasion sample size, a creamy exfoliator, i have only used this a couple of times and it isn't something i'd use everyday but is nice to freshen up the face.

I've not being using these products for too long, plus on the Origins website you get 3 free samples when you order something so i have lots of products to try out.
