I Bought this mask last year along with my now favourite Dr Jart BB Cream, after giving it several uses i thought it was worth reviewing. This mask is for tightening the pores, clearing sebum oils which can lead to spots and any excess dead skin cells. I honestly have large pores in areas of my face but i didn't buy this product in any belief it would make them smaller i just don't think there is anything out there that can work that? However i did buy this mask in hope it would give my skin some sort of detox when its feeling spot prone.
The mask applies as a white clay for 10 minutes and then washed off with warm water. Its quite pleasant to wear, doesn't feel like a heavy mud mask i tend to clean mine off with a warm muslin cloth.
Afterwards my skin feels clear, if you had dry skin i would be careful about choosing to use this mask. Overall i've been enjoying using this product i can't say if its working as i only tend to use it occasionally when i feel my skin needs it but you can use it once or twice a week.
If i'm honest this mask seems pretty similar to a REN skincare detox mask i've also being using but DrJart is much affordable option that does the job just as well.
This mask is available to buy from boots here
I have super oily/acne prone skin and really enjoy using this mask. Just like you, I didn't think that it would make my pores smaller. I was hoping that it would purify my skin if it was a bit congested. And that is exactly what it did. It is a super elegant mask. Unlike other clay masks when it dries it doesn't pull the skin. It has a fresh, but not overwhelming scent. It is a nice light grey with a hint of blue colour. So, unlike other clay masks, it doesn't make me look like a camouflaged solder... Lovely post, and I enjoy your photographs. I am glad I found your blog :-)
